The Tour de Ghaap is a two-day ultra mountain-bike stage race held in the Northern Cape province of South Africa, based in the small town of Ulco (about 80 km from Kimberley).

The combination of mountain-bike terrain + a remote, scenic setting makes it appealing to serious riders and to those seeking an adventure/experience rather than just a race.

Beyond the race, it’s built as a family-friendly weekend: participants can camp, bring families, enjoy the Northern Cape outdoors, and even younger riders take part in a mini race.

The family and camping component adds an extra dimension—making it more than just 2 days of racing.
